Job Description

JOB BRIEF

To oversee general administrative duties and provide support to the entire Agency as required. This includes the supervision of daily support operations and administrative procedures. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in managing departmental procedures and policies and will be able to actively discover new ways to perform tasks more efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES· 
  • Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and devise ways to streamline processes.
  • Co-ordination of training and management of office space.
  • Digitizing the administrative processes of the Agency.
  • Assess staff performance and provide coaching and guidance to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations.
  • Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchase of new office materials with attention to budgetary constraints.
  • Organize and supervise other office activities (recycling, renovations, event planning etc).
  • Ensure operations adhere to policies and regulations.
REMUNERATION

Remuneration is subject to prevailing compensation for Kaduna State Civil Servants for Grade Levels 12-14 depending on the successful candidates’ qualifications and years of experience.

Job Requirement

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS· 
  • A bachelor’s degree in any business and management related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role, or 7 years’ experience in a similar role in addition to a master’s degree in any business and management related discipline.
  • In-depth understanding of office management procedures and departmental and legal policies.
  • Familiarity with financial and facilities management principles.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools, CRM, SharePoint and other collaborative tools
  • An analytical mind with problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • A team player with leadership skills.
  • An MBA or other relevant qualification is an added advantage.
