Job Description
To oversee all financial planning and strategy of the Bureau. The candidate must be a reliable professional with broad knowledge of accounting and financial principles.
JOB DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Drive the financial planning of the bureau by analyzing its performance and adherence to all relevant rules and regulations on public finance.
2. Constant oversight of the Bureau’s financial position.
3. Set targets for and supervise all accounting and finance personnel (management accountants, internal auditors etc.).
4. Oversee all audit, internal control operations and financial management systems.
5. Develop the corporate fundraising strategy and manage relationships with partners.
6. Ensure efficient utilization of resources and implement cost-cutting measures.
7. Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis.
REMUNERATION
Remuneration is subject to prevailing salary structure for Kaduna State Civil Servants for Grade Level14

Job Requirement
Basic requirements:
i. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting and duly certified by ANAN or ICAN.
ii. In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
iii. Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
iv. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
v. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
vi. A master’s degree or other relevant qualification is an added advantage.
Professional Qualifications:
Relevant professional qualifications such as ICAN or ANAN
Experience:
Minimum of 12 years’ experience in a similar role, in accounting.
Age Bracket:18 - 50years old
