Job Description

Responsible for the smooth running of the entire IT infrastructure of the Bureau. The role also entails the supervision, implementation, and maintenance of the Bureau’s end-user computing needs. The successful candidate will have advanced skills, a proven professional experience, and a detailed knowledge of public service best practice processes.

JOB DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manage information technology and computer systems of the Bureau.
2. Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
3. Manage the training, coaching and performance of IT support staff.
4. Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
5. Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in good time.
6. Preserve assets, information security and control structures.

REMUNERATION
Remuneration is subject to prevailing salary structure for Kaduna State Civil Servants for Grade Level 12

Job Requirement

Basic requirements:
i. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a core ICT related discipline (e.g., computer science, computer engineering, information and communication technology, information systems, software engineering etc.).
ii. Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems.
iii. Expertise in data center management and data governance.
iv. Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation.
v. Team management skills.
vi. Skills in PHP, .NET and database management

Professional Qualifications:
A master’s degree and relevant professional experience and certification is an added advantage.

Experience:
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar role.

Age Bracket:18 - 50years old
