Job Description

The head of ICT will oversee the Agency’s ID capturing operations in addition to all hardware, software, and computer assets. This includes development, implementation, and monitoring of policies on network infrastructure, IT performance management, network administration and system security, and data protection regulations.

JOB DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
1. The planning, execution, and management of the Agency’s IT projects.
2. The careful execution of the Agency’s digital ID roadmap which includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party vendors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan.
3. Oversight and quality control of all IT-related projects and deliverables.
4. Resolve issues escalated by technicians and engineers.
5. Ensure data is handled, transferred, or processed according to legal and the Bureau`s guidelines.
6. Control costs and budgets regarding IT systems.
7. Develop IT policies and practices.
8. Oversee day-to-day operations.
9. Designing and implementing Agency operations and enrollment center operational plans.
10. Establishing policies that promote Agency culture and vision.

REMUNERATION
Remuneration is subject to prevailing salary structure for Kaduna State Civil Servants for Grade Level14

Job Requirement

Basic requirements:
i. A master’s degree and bachelor’s degree with a minimum of second-class in computer science.
ii. Either of the master’s degree or bachelor’s degree must be in a core ICT related discipline (e.g., computer science, computer engineering, information and communication technology, information systems, software engineering etc.).
iii. Strong familiarity with development environments and tools.
iv. Competent and proficient understanding of business solutions, such as Document Management, CRMs, Business Web Technology etc.
v. Skills in PHP, .NET and database management
vi. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

Professional Qualifications:
Relevant professional qualifications, and presentation of verifiable portfolio of relevant projects, will be an added advantage.

Experience:
Minimum of seven (7) years post-qualification cognate experience in project management, software development, management of IT infrastructure, or related fields.

Age Bracket:18 - 50years old
